You have GOT to be kidding me. Bum Phillips SAYS SO??? The guy is lobbying for his son to get a job! And, on top of that, he's part of this whole Good Ol' Boy Network that has absolutely SUNK this franchise. At what point do results start mattering?? And the players are so far up Kubiak's ass because the guy simply does NOT hold them accountable! There's NO urgency, NO fire, NO motivation, and NO edge to any of these players, and that's the culture that Gary Kubiak has instilled. If Gary Kubiak was a good coach, like you keep claiming, at what point do the excuses for him stop, and the results start showing?? He's had 5 years to get this team where it needs to be, and so far, he's gone completely full circle. A good coach would know how to utilize his God-given running back/wide receiver tandem properly, don't you agree?? A good coach would learn how to bring in defensive personnel and coaching that would play professional-level football, don't you agree?? A good coach would have this team playing clean, crisp, mistake-free football in his 5th season, don't you agree?? A good coach would learn when to properly call timeouts, and learn when to properly throw the challenge flag, don't you agree?? A good coach would have his team playing IN THE PLAYOFFS in his 5th season, don't you agree??? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you've made the case as to why Gary Kubiak is, in fact, NOT A GOOD COACH.
