LMFAO!!! Do you even watch the Texans? Kubiak has had horrible time clock management issues this year. One example was at the end of the half versus the Jets. The stream I was watching had no announcers, so you could hear the players, fans, etc. (game sounds). One of the NY fans yells out, in a NY accent and all, "great time management there Kubiak!". It was hilarious. Fans of other teams are making fun of us. Hell, at TexansTalk, a Ravens fan came in to tell us how good of a job Kubiak is doing and that we should give him time. Of course he was being sarcastic. The Texans are a freaking joke. Been around for nine years now. We're the new and improved Lions, but at least the Lions are actually improving now. The Texans are regressing.

And it's pretty apparent that the team has quit on Kubiak. Them fighting each other on the field is enough to show that. And watch how Kubiak is all alone on the sidelines now. I'm not even sure that he wants to come back and coach.

Not a clock management issue but I keep thinking about the game at Indy. We had a 3rd and 2 and Kubes called a pass that was incomplete. He then goes for it on 4th and 2, again passing it incomplete. Now, considering how much Foster ran all over the Colt on opening day, you'd think that if you had 2 downs to get 2 yards, you'd just run it and take your chances.

When Kubiak was asked about those 2 plays at the press conference, he said that he didn't know that he was going to go for it on 4th down when he called the 3rd down play. That's just mind numbingly stupid. That's something you have to think about as a coach, whether you're in 4 down territory or not and how that affects your play calling. Big time Kubiak FAIL on that one.

How about EVERY TIME on 3rd down plays, he calls a play incapable of getting the first down!!! How frustrating it watching 4 yards routes on 3rd and 8 or 7 yard passes on 3rd and 15? jesus schrist

Riddle me this; who installed them as starters and in the face of those failures adamantly refused to yank them? Who told Schobel no thanks in August? Who declined to look into trades because "those are the right guys"?

Kubiak installed two DCs that were out of their depth from the get go, and didn't even look at the resumes of qualified prospects. Kubiak hired a joke of a secondary coach as a favor to his dad. Kubiak refused to evaluate them or hold them accountable for a Hall of Fail defense.

That's on Schaub. I've seen Kubiak get on Matt about that plenty of times this year.

If I remember correctly didn't our receivers drop the passes on those downs? I'm pretty sure Jacoby did.

Both passes were to Walter. On the 4th down play, Schaub was in shotgun and they didn't even give the illusion of possibly calling a run in that situation. I'm pretty sure that on the 4th down play, the defense just made a play and knocked the ball away.

So if the receiver drops it, it's the receivers fault. If the ball is underthrown, it's the QB's fault. Under no circumstances is it the coaches fault that he called consecutive pass plays on 3rd and 4th down when all they needed were 2 yards. It's not the coaches fault that he didn't have a clue what he was going to do on 4th down if his 3rd down try failed.

With your criteria, I could be the coach of the Texans. I wouldn't have a ****ing clue what I what I was doing, but if the players didn't do what I asked them to do then it'd be their fault for not executing. Being a coach must be the easiest job in the world. You just tell people what to do and if it doesn't work it's their fault, not yours.

Isn't Reliant Stadium about over half season ticket PSLs?

That makes about 40,000 season ticket holders, and this is one of the most popular sports websites there is... not shocked that 50 or so of those people know about CF.net

What is hard to believe is that 30+ of them are "done"... the season ticket waiting list hardly ever moves... people don't give them up.

Not sure how many season ticket holders they have but of the ones they do have they take up about 65,000 seats.

The only way McNair will listen is if the fans don't show up.

Someone needs to make a petition, with all the season ticket owners' signature on it, stating that if Kubiak is back next season they won't be then send it to McNair.

ok, then why Singletary got fired? Alex Smith, Troy Smith, David Carr, were throwing INTs and bad passes and fumbling the ball? so why they fired the coach, if it was the QB fault?

why they fired Childress? Brett Favre is having a terrible year, the Vikings defense are not getting sacks (with childress as a HC) the WRs got injured (Harvin and Rice)

why they fired Wade Phillips? The players were playing without heart, the O Line were doing a lot of penalties, the kicker is missing FGs, Romo got hurt.

Umm I swear I saw a commercial that said season tickets are available, but maybe that was before 9-7 and Super Bowl dreams.

I just bought a house, so I was thinking about not renewing anyway. Now that McNair is sitting on his a** and doing nothing about Kubiak, then I'm leaning toward not renewing. I'm not sure how that affects the PSL though. That's something I'd have to consider.
