Our non-division road games don't seem too bad at all... Carolina, Atlanta, San Diego, Oakland, Cleveland. Out of all of those, San Diego will be the toughest... but the others are all winnable (I like Schaub getting a chance to stick it to the Falcons in ATL).
lol. well, I understood why the Texans kept Carr. I defend the Texans decision in that. but it's just pure intrigue to get a chance to see him play against us. Trust me, I hope we kill his team. I also hope he has a good carreer. My heart didn't break when they released him.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, understood their decision? and still defend it? talk about being blind to the obvious....the texans organization (owner) flat out admitted it was a mistake!
maybe stipulations wasn't the right word. i just remember your sig bet with someone here about VY. you had lost but you would not remove the "expiration date" on the sig. basically, adding a disclaimer. eh, whatever.
You can still understand why someone made a decision even if that decision turned out to be a mistake.
well just agree to disagree so the topic can get back on track, my apologies. I am curious to see how texans bounce back. the schedule should at least help them get a leg up
jesus man, i defended it at the time. please, state the obvious again b/c you haven't done that enough times.
as much as I like to see Young succeed, I am still shaking my head at the amount of people on here just waiting to taste Vince's man juice at first opportunity.
I see the irony too. I was actually trying to figure out which bars had the Sunday Ticket so I could see the Panthers preseason games to watch Carr play. This is from a season ticket holder who has boo'd Carr too many times to count.
I don't know about you, but I sure as hell wouldn't schedule the Texans to a MNF game. Remember the Texans vs. Raiders game last season? That in itself is a good enough reason not to put us on National TV IMHO. Regular Season Kansas City (W) @ Carolina (W/L) Indianapolis (L) @ Atlanta (W) Miami (W) @ Jacksonville (W) Tennessee (W/L) @ San Diego (L) @ Oakland (W) Bye Week New Orleans (L) @ Cleveland (W) @ Tennessee (W/L) Tampa Bay (W) Denver (Nationally Televised) @ Indianapolis (L) Jacksonville (W) Looking at the schedule, other than Indy/NO/San Diego, there are a lot of games that we can win and should win.
Might be crazy but the outcome in the game against Indy in Week 3 might set the tone for the rest of the season. I see it as if they beat Indy at home, they could be looking to a pretty good W-L record by BYE week (6-3 maybe?).
Well there will be lots of Saints and Titan fans at those games but still way more Texan fans so the majority of fans will be happy.
I was hoping we would get Carr-olina at home. Can you imagine Carr coming back to Houston? Think the local media would hype that game up?
That is NOT an easy schedule. That said I'm still a believer that if things fall right we could be a playoff candidate.
