If you want to talk about the Cowboys go to a website that talks about the Cowboys
No loyalty? The Dallas Cowboys have sold out every single home since 1991 I beleive. Could be even 89 or 90. Now that's loyalty.

The cowboys could not even average 50k a game in the late 80s www.kenn.com/sports/football/nfl/nfl_dal_attendance.html not only that but last year I was at the cowboys-texans pre season game and there were 10k+ seats not even sold there were entire sections of the upper deck empty. Thank god for there strong national and strong mexican fan base or they might never sell out unless fans for the other team took over.
looking at that list it looks like they have sold out games since 2003, good for them and their "hard core non bandwagon fan base"
You might want to go back to college and re-take Math 1300. Couldn't average 50k in the late 80's? America's Team from the late 80's(86-89) averaged 52, 343. Preseason game? HA! Who cares about preseason? Wanna talk about loyalty. I went to the Texans game vs. Colts last year and there was about 20K in the stands. It was like a Pittsburgh Pirates game. You could sit wherever you want.
First I believe that with the lack of a running game and this crazy schedule, anything over 6 wins would be a miricle for the Texans As far as the Cowboys, Truth be told, they may be the 3nd or 4th most talented team in NFC. However, if you are putting you faith in Drew Bledsoe, you are begging for disappointment. Drew need to call Brent Farve, Marshal Faulk and Curtis Martin and have a 4 way retirement news conferance
Interesting....I was at the same game and it was pretty packed, the attendance was over 70,000 actually, I'd say you were a little off on your observation.
Allright... I haven't voted or said anything about this, because I don't know any crap about bettin' or Vegas odds, or anything like that. Someone explain it to me in the fewest words possible. Explain it to me like I was a four-year-old computer geek, please. WTF is under/over, even, pick'em, and all that jazz?
Im not a betting expert, but what I understand is that you think the texans will win more than 5 games you bet on "over" if you think the texans cant win 5 games, you bet on "under" if you think they will 5 games you bet on "push" i dont know if this clear and understandable, but thats the way I would explain it.
70,000!? You're crazy. That was the amount of tickets sold. But no one showed up to watch a 2 win team. It was easyly 20K. Nice try though.
no, they haven't. Dallas Cowboys 1996 64,224 Dallas Cowboys 1997 63,971 Dallas Cowboys 1998 63,805 Dallas Cowboys 1999 62,531 Dallas Cowboys 2000 61,205 Dallas Cowboys 2001 58,175 Dallas Cowboys 2002 61,196 Dallas Cowboys 2003 63,903 Dallas Cowboys 2004 63,861 The Cowboys website indicates that capacity for a football game at Texas Stadium is 65K. I do not know if capacity recently increased...but even if it did, see that 58K number right in the middle there?? That would indicate to me that they have not sold out every game since 1996. The Cowboys do NOT have a waiting list for season tickets, currently.
TRUE. The fact is that the texans just dont have a loyal fanbase. I consider myself a texans fan and i'm excited about the upcoming season. My question is, why dont we have a loyal fanbase? Here's the answer: The team hasnt done anything for us. No significant free agent signings. No "superstars". Finally, they pass on the PR goldenboy (bush) that would finally make people start going in the game. That, my friends, is why we dont have a loyal fanbase
Up until the end of last season, Reliant was packed for every home game. Winning will attract a loyal fanbase.
it's because you haven't had the ups and downs yet. they're not engrained in most houstonians yet...because it takes time to build that. it can't just be created. they're on their way. the texans have an incredible gameday experience in the periphery. the organization is a good one. they will eventually taste success on the field. and in the midst of all this...they've still sold out every game...they still have a waiting list for season tickets.
