Thanks for putting words in my mouth... and please, calm down. I'm not attacking you, nor am I questioning your opinions. I'm simply saying that in the NFL, one player cannot make the difference... we need a new GM to evaluate talent, a new coaching staff, a new defense, a new offense, and probably a new kicker (for the hell of it). I'm cautioning everybody to not get their hopes way up there (like we've all done for the Rockets this year) and think everything will be okay with just that one guy... Bush wouldn't be all-world on this team as its constructed... and its sad because it would be an amazing talent wasted.
This might be the ugliest game i've ever had to watch. I'm rooting against my home team, Jamal Lewis is on my fantasy team and he sucks, and both teams are horrible, this is brutal i'd rather be at the dentist.
Only hope right now is for some Flags. Otherwise its in the bag for the Texans. It's already a 45 yard FG attempt.
I'm calm. But, you and I have gone round and round over this. As bad as this team and as bad as this season is, just the thought of having someone like Reggie Bush excites me enought to even care about the Texans right now so don't rain on my parade, lol.
Why in the **** did that idiot Sams fair catch the kickoff? That play put us in a position to win this thing. Unbelieveable.
Two minutes to snatch defeat away from the jaws of victory! Git-R-done! You can do it! Just do what you have been practicing all year!
It excites everybody... the sad thing is, this orgnaization should be far ahead of where they are right now. They shouldn't even be in the POSITION to draft him. That's what makes me frustrated... we might as well petition the NFL to re-do the expansion draft, and start over from square 1 after this year. Its been 4 years WASTED. I'm finally coming to that conclusion, and its not great. Also, in the NFL... for a RB, everything can turn on one bad twist of the knee, or a guy being placed in the wrong system (Willis McGahee, Ricky Williams). Making this guy our savior is just as risky as having not addressed the real needs of this team for 4 entire years (pass rushing defense, pass blocking offense, and trading away draft picks and denying depth). Its a gamble that I'm sure we're going to have to take (I'm amazed by Bush)... but I just don't want him to be wasted here.
