Yeah, I'd like to have someone else, but it's so hard to find an elite QB in this league. Out of all the guys you listed, sadly Schaub is probably still better than all of them. lol good one RKR, but we do get some attention all thanks to JJ.
Agreed. As I stated in the other thread. Draft a QB in first few rounds like San Fran did. We have Schaub for 2 more seasons so we can only afford a drafted QB.
Facing single coverage, Schaub couldn't get it done. Plenty of blame to go around, but we've seen Schaubs ceiling, and it's simply not high enough. Don't know if Yates is really the answer but at this point i know Schaub isn't.
Schaub's first 2 years on the extension is guaranteed, and the minute you cut him the rest of his signing bonus counts toward the upcoming season.
Texans royally messed up giving Schaub the extension. Now they are probably stuck with the guy and his limitations.
Given the cap hell we're still in Yates or a draft pick appears to be our only option. Yates can't be any worse than Schaub Not that Schaub will ever lose his job, but we can hope.
