As I've gotten older(I'm 30), my level of enthusiasm for the NFL has decreased big time because of the history of Houston NFL football.

I just can't be all "rah, rah, rah" anymore and overlook all the apparent faults that the Texans have, i.e. the mental errors and such that reflect so poorly on Kubiak and how he prepares the team. They enter every Sunday without a full clip, granted, the injuries have killed them. That's their horrible luck in 2009. In 2008 it was Ike, etc. But eventually someone needs to be held accountable, and it's going to be Kubiak if we don't get over the hump.

Just knowing how much better this team could be if they were more prepared just kills me and fill me with such mental anguish.

I gotta give you props, though, for your positive outlook on the Texans and for staunchly defending your viewpoint.

Anyways, just trying to explain how it looks from the other side of the coin.

That's all you had to say. Instead, because you are a smug *******, you completely warp my quote around. Why did you feel it necessary to take it to that degree unless you are just a dip****.

    Warping your quote?

What? How are you taking this personally?

I thought it was funny that you and I have such parallel, yet opposite thinking about the Texans.

Me basically playing mad-libs and fill in the blank with your post is NOT an attack on you, OR your opinion.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but based on your reactions in this thread, I'm not sure the internet is a good place for you. Maybe you should talk sports at Creme de la Creme?

Yeah, Donnymost, how dare you attempt humor on an internet message board! This is serious business!

You even put a smiley on it, the internet token symbol for "just kidding"

I thought we had the tiebreak advantage over Ten based on conference record, but I didn't realize that if 2 teams are tied for the wild card from the same division, it goes to the division record first which means Ten beats us.

So we need Miami to win and Jets to lose? Dolphins just tied it up, pretty good game
