Funny things can happen in week 17, especially in a division game. Bad teams know that they are a week away from being on vacation, and might come together to try to build momentum for next year. There's also the players that are coming up to free agency trying to leave one more impression. Perfect example is Andre Davis with us a couple of years ago. Ran 2 kickoffs back for TD's in week 17 and got a fat contract.
Just got back from the game! What a win by the Texans! Freaking hot out here, but I got a nice tan..... I hope the chips fall our way for a playoff spot......
So all we need now is the Colts and Eagles to win today. And then next week we have to beat New England and if either Denver or Baltimore lose next week we are in. If Denver wins and Baltimore loses we are in as the 6th seed. If Baltimore wins and Denver loses we are in as the 6th seed. If Baltimore and Denver both lose we are in as the 5th seed. If Denver and Baltimore both win they are both in, and we are out.
Ick. The opponents next week for the Raven and Broncos are the Raiders and Chiefs... Pretty big long shot to get in the playoffs but still a chance!
Nah, I wish. I just have my wife's family down here. Since we were coming down for Christmas wkd, thought I would score some tix. Worked out great!
I'd argue that Cincinnati is a much better team than Denver at this point, and the Chiefs hung with Cincy, in Cincy, until the final minute.
Texans need Jets and Denver to lose this week. Next week, if Texans win and Denver or Ravens lose, we're in. GO COLTS,EAGLES,KC,AND OAKLAND!!
but isnt it if Pitt,Baltimore, and we win next week dont we get in because of the 3 team wildcard tiebreaker rules? I think thats the most logical way we will probably get in?
Im hoping just one of them lose because I would rather play in cinci then have to travel to new england and play them again
