When are they going to place Kubiak on IR??

On a side note, I'm deathly afraid that Kubiak will convince McNair that Mario's injury has hampered the defense all year, which would give McNair an excuse to keep him. DEATHLY AFRAID.

I'm sure Kubiak will say that the "kids are working their tail off" to get a chance to step up and pick up the slack...

meh. Sad to see the season coming to an end like this.

But, I'm happy to see that Super Mario is going to get some rest.

    ....sigh....can't wait till next year.

Lame that my first game ever....and first time at Reliant....is going to be the last game of the season that means nothing. ...FML.

I can see the excuses now. "Well, the reason we took a step back and finished below .500 was because Andre and Mario were injured and didn't play in those last 3 games."

    Excuses will be

    'We had a tough schedule.'

'Cushing and Brown were suspended. That hurt us.'

'Rick Dennison only in his first year with the Texans, gotta give him more time!'

Kind of worried about this. Did McNair tell Kubiak his job was safe so he went ahead and placed players on IR knowing he would be back next year?

Perfect example of why the Texans cant win. Bob is happy to make his cash and thats about it. 5-8 no playoffs in the 9 yr history but the season is not a failure??? Amazing

These kinds of statements from Bob make it very difficult for me to care. If he doesn't, why should I?

exactly. when they keep this joke of a coach and they fail yet again, there's going to be a lot of fans who just aren't going to care all that much.

He actually caught a pass, then fainted from the shock.

To be fair, what do you expect him to say publicly? It's a little annoying to hear him say that, but I would think less of him if he came out and just teed off on his head coach to the media.

Guys, please forgive me. That post was a hypothetical Bob McNair quote, not really what he has said. :(

I was going to something yesterday about how these "quotes" are getting harder and harder to tell if they're real or not but opted not to.

I know many feel it's for the best...but I cannot accept a loss to the titans. I said it in the game thread...I don't care what the situation is. I always want them to kick the living s*** out of the titans.
