What's your point? Are the y worse off than they were lat season? Dunta couldn't cover those guys either. And I'm not too worried about Edwards considering he can't catch
i also say 8-10 wins...with it very likely being 8. first year (just like with the Astros) in 4 that i'm not betting the over--unless it comes down to 8
hhhmmmm I think the 1st 4 games will tell alot about this team The 5th and 6th game will tell alot about Cushing. Rocket River
It's not rocket science. He's not going to step and be a great corner. What part of rookie CBs getting their licks is hard to understand? And no, the defense isn't going to as good as last year.
don't get me wrong, as much as i like them, i just don't have a lot of faith in them. they haven't been to the playoffs yet, and i just haven't seen a reason why they should this year. we have high hopes every year but at the end of the season, they fall short. but it's nice to see Shaub working out and the defense improving. we have some talented players, it would be nice to see everything come together.
by your logic, because cushing's not playing 4 games, we are going to lose a game or two JUST because he's not playing? i know the LB position is important, but i'm not sure if him not playing is going to be the difference in games.
But he is not replacing a great corner, he is gonna step in and do at least the job that was done last season, the defense is not going to be worse with him in there instead of Dunta. They will be worse because Cush wont be there
6 games tops. Kareem Jackson will have a cleft lip by sunset on Nervoecember 43rd. ALL WILL HAIL BRILLIANT NEW OVERLORD GLORIOUS MANATEE KITCHEN WING PIT!
I think Texans had a solid draft but I just don't feel easy taking the over with Kubes at the helm. The team ripe with talent, but they just do not have the killer instinct to finish close games, plus Houston has the toughest schedule in the entire NFL. HOWEVER, being the "homer" that I am, I'm gonna bank on Schaub staying upright for 16 games, Connor Barwin becoming the pash rusher we've desperately needed opposite Mario, and Tate being an effective, inside, one cut runner that we needed for the play action plays Kubes system is predicated on and have Houston winning 11 games!
Dunta was not nearly as bad as we Texan fans like to pretend he was in retrospect. He made a jackass move with "Pay me, Rick."
he is a very important player, and with him you can get more sacks, or at least make a QB rush the pass, the texans needs all the help they can make to beat the colts, and missing an important player will hurt the texans.
Why doesn't anybody talk about Kubiak's record against the AFC South? Why will it all of a sudden change this year? Playoffs are near impossible when you go 1-5 or 2-4 in the division year in and out.
