    Texans: 26
    Jets: 18

Question: have you kept up with the Jets D all year? They have only allowed two scores above 25 all year. Two games at the beginning of the year (24 to cincy and 27 to SD)..both early games.

I doubt the Texans will score 26 on the Jets in NJ, especially since they have CMART and Lamont Jordand to run on us. I'd go out on a limb and say Lamont Jordan is a power runner like Antowain Smith. I see him getting huge gains against us when they spell Martin.

NO way.no how the Texans put up those numbers against the Jets unless they throw on every down.

Why didn't they go for the 51 yrd fg attempt?

David Carr laying on his back, not getting up. Could it possibly get any worse?

I don't think Carr's going to be playing anymore in this one.

EDIT: Nevermind, he's back in already.

Stupid, worthless, ******* offensive line. There's not an athlete I love more than David Carr and to see him get injured likes this makes me so aggravated. :(

Wow, thank God he's okay. GET BETTER NOW, O-LINE!

Okay... our punter is obviously injured, yet CBS has done nothing more than a passing "Stanley got roughed up in the warmup" speculation.

That's a huge story, considering we don't have a backup punter, and its already cost us twice so far today in the battle of field position.

So, let me get this straight...Chad Stanley is the only guy on the team that can hold a snap on a FG?

    You've got to be kidding.

Eventually someone is going to have to come in to punt. I doubt every possession will end in Jets territory.

we don't have a punter?! Damnit. Like you said, they aren't mentioning that. I didn't know about that. They just want to make the Texans look stupid.

No... we weren't going to be kicking a FG on that last possesion, and the first one would have still been a 50+ yarder.

The key here is that we have nobody else to PUNT and pin them deep, which is far more important than attempting long FG's, in my opinion.
