Schaub looks a hell of a lot more comfortable today.

He's making better decisions and is not as stationary when he comes under pressure.

I haven't been watching the game. Can somebody tell me what Kubiak did that people are up in arms about?

He didn't call timeout to take the punt return team off of the field on a fourth down on the first drive of the game by Jax when they left the offense in. They direct snapped to a back who ran straight to the end zone.

Only poor decision was that he left the special teams out on a fourth down play and did not call a time out when the Jags still had their offense on.

    4th down and 6
we brought out our punt team while jacksonville kept their offense in
direct snap to full back, 41 yd touchdown run
kubiak should've called a time out when anyone could clearly see that jacksonville had their offense in against our punt team [didnt even bring out their punter]

It's much easier to change coaches than half the team is what I meant. Do you not agree that it was a horrendous decision by Kubiak? Are you defending it?

And it's their. If you're going to "fix" my post, you should at least use proper grammar.

Wow, I gotta see the replay. Is there any justifiable reason why he didn't call the TO?

No... there isn't. There was plenty of time, and everybody could see that Jacksonville wasn't planning on punting.

No, there wasn't. I was surprised someone on the field didn't call timeout. The punt return team was running around obviously caught off guard.

We could use a turnover right here.

Gotta love having the guy stopped behind the line of scrimmage, only to let him escape for a first down.

    There. You happy LL?

sorry teach, old habits and all that.......

no, I'm not defending his decision, it was a mistake.....but people here constantly whine about Kubiak and Schaub as if those are the 2 biggest issues with this team. If anything Richard Smith is the bigger incompetent. I put more blame on ND Kalu, CC Brown, Travis Johnson, Amobi Okoye, Petey Faggins than I do Schaub.
