I didn't say that... I just said its difficult to evaluate a QB when you say he "needs to look better when he has little to no time to pass." And, fwiw, the first two weeks... he did have times where he had good protection... and he still didn't look great. This week, much more poise in the pocket.
I essentially agree. Things aren't always going to be peachy in the backfield though, and when it's not the qb is still accountable for what he does with the ball. Was that a coach's challenge?
The Texans are going to go into halftime with all three of their timeouts. Awesome.... score should be at least 10-3 Houston, if not better.
are you kidding? man you guys are just really whiney fans. look at all of the positives coming out of that first half. arguably the best first half this season, and you guys want to do is cry about Kubiak.
dam you kubiak! how could you give MJD a hole that big? it's your fault you can't tackle these guys kubiak fail.
You're right, we should just ignore extreme incompetence, especially when it directly leads to a TD for the opposing team. That's pretty much twice now in the last two weeks.
You can't downplay how big a mistake that was... no matter how the team looked. All that matters is the final score... and if the Texans lose by a TD or less, that play will be magnified even more. And yes... coaches can lose their jobs over decisions like that... you can't make that sort of mistake in this league.
please don't bring up extreme incompetence, it only solidifies my argument. half this team should be gone if that was the basis for whacking people.
When's the last time a team waived half a team that was terrible? Like it or not, it's much easier to replace a coach than multiple players. I'm not calling for Kubiak's head (earlier was just frustration), but we have every right as fans to chide him for that terrble decision and after last week, his decision-making certainly is turning very questionable. Regardless, using your logic, we can't complain about any bad play or decision because we'd just be whiny.
Your coaches should be putting the players in a position to win... Kubiak didn't do that by leaving the punt return team in against the starting offense. That was huge mistake by Kubiak.
His decision making around timeouts and challenging plays has always been questionable to me. He's had a tendency to burn timeouts at odd times the entire time he's been here.
woohoo good drive texans! play some good defense matt schaub is really looking good today 2 tds no INTERCEPTIONS
