Plus he's played on an elite team's OL for many years and would bring that experience with him. On third link, don't pay attention to #1 and #19, will just make you sick, but #20 is Warford. With that said, I'm a big Sean Payton fan and when he releases you (alibi to get younger and cheaper) it causes me to pause (see last ex-Saint OG we signed). If we can release Fulton without a huge tax hit and sign Warford for a reasonable deal, it's probably a sound move and an upgrade to the final spot we needed to improve.
After all the sht trades to preserve or have more cap space, do we have enough to sign someone solid like this dude?
Seeing the similarities in pass blocking this seems more like a move to improve the run game. Karama's numbers dipped a little last season. Can anyone find the advanced rushing stats of left side rushes vs right side rushes?
When you are low on draft picks, and you've traded away good personnel, you really need to pounce on getting quality free agents. Picking up Warford would be HUGE. Opportunities like that don't come along often. If they pull it off, which I doubt they will because he will be in high demand, but if they do, it would really help to make up for some of the other head scratching decisions BOB has made.
