Not signing him because it's not in the best interest of the T-E-A-M Brian. Not STD (smart, tough, dependable) Not working hard, getting better every day Earl, while without a job for a month now, avoids this **** franchise.
McClain talking right now. Says he's heard they had a lot of discussion, and before he had a chance to work out they cancelled the workout. Says he thinks they might leak it out that it was due to COVID-19 protocols, but he feels they just didn't think he was a good fit. Thinks they should look at Eric Reid but for whatever reason they're not interested in Eric Reid. Says he doesn't think its related to viewpoints/stance by Eric Reid as it's clear BoB is right there taking a knee alongside his players before games. Says he's going to ask O'Brien about it tomorrow.
"Not a good fit" = He's not a BoB yes man like Nick Martin, Eric Murray, David Johnson, and Randall Cobb. Nope he's more of a guy to (rightfully) question stupid tactics and bad coaching. How do you dare stand up to Lord BoB, GM/HC (future owner of the Texans)!
If backup-db-on-the-browns-last-year Eric Murray is defending Juju Smith-Schuster one on one they think the solution is big name safety help. Instead of asking why is this scrub being put on the opposing WR1 in solo coverage.
Wait so BoB told his agent that the NFL made them cancel it but then says it was better for them to cancel it like it was a choice?
This is why the Texans are Texans. We are 0-3 with the rest of the division seemingly much improved. The defense has been horrible and is just one of three teams without a turnover. Thomas would easily be the best player in the secondary, if not the entire defense, and you decide against it because a few players made a fuss? Like he’s gonna mess up some team chemistry they got cooking?
You do realize adding a toxic player to the locker room is a disaster waiting to happen? The players heard from the Ravens how bad Thomas was. Listen to your players.
