TEXANS IN-Season Thread

Going into the season I thought the secondary was the strongest group. Now looks like we need 2 safeties this offseason.

 

I see Schefter and others posting the playoff chances of teams, but the Texans aren't one of them.

Does this mean we're officially out or what are the scenarios of us getting in?

 

We win out, we're in

 

They’re just showing their east coast bias by hyping up Pitt and Bengals. We win both games and we’re 100% in. Most likely as a wild card. If Jags drop a game then as the AFC South Champ.

Not to be rude, but we're sitting at 8-7 in a 3-way tie at the top of our division. Why would we officially be out?

If we win both of our remaining games, we are in the playoffs (either as a Wild Card or the AFCS Champ). If we go 1-1, but lose to the Colts, our chances go down drastically. If we go 1-1 but beat the Colts, our chances are slightly better but still not great. Basically, our path is right in front of us. Win both of these games.

 

I hope K.J. puts a few Titans on the I.R.

 

Hard to argue that. The job he’s done in Cleveland with about 4 different qbs is amazing.

 

Damn Demeco got Russel Wilson benched and likely cut. I mean that Broncos decline started with the loss to us.

 

We tended to break streaks. Both winning and losing streaks.

With CJ’s potential return, the Colts meeting a Raiders team that’s suddenly found themselves with some life, and the Jags in the mist of a late season collapse, this week could end with the Texans on top of the south. These next two weeks should be the best type of chaos
