Rumblings of Ward's return are growing. Could have a limited practice today. (sr610)

Houston-Carson has done an outstanding job in place of him. Pitre unfortunately plagued with the Sophomore slump.

I thought it was cool that JJ Watt broke the news

Yeah, we need him to bring Ertz along with him down here to sign a contract now.

Zach Ertz, the TE. I wouldn't mind if the Texans take a look at him. Is he healthy though?

I'm beginning to see comps for Stroud from way back. He's less of a running QB and more of a scrambling QB like Archie Manning and Fran Tarkington. Both ran to buy time to pass, running only as a last resort. But doing it as effectively as their teams would permit.

I was thinking this and heard another comment about Fran Tarkington to confirm it.

ps - For those of you too young to have seen Archie, he was arguably better than his sons, but saddled with a very bad team for his entire career. It explains the little drama during the selection of Peyton threatening not to sign if the team wasn't willing to surround him with talent.

That was a very odd release, he was at least depth at the position

I think it was mainly procedural and tried to be cute to sneak Shaq back on to PS.

Longest tenured Texan in his 14th season. The man's a fixture.

Remember like in 2018 we wanted to pair him up with our promising defense. 5 years = 20 Nfl years.
    Good depth to have.

The #Texans waived DE Kerry Hyder, per the wire. The #Texans also placed WR Tank Dell on IR. — Ian Rapoport

He's ranked pretty low among all safeties overall, but higher than Pitre. Being ranked high against the run is a good thing though.
