Funny this irrelevant twit did a better job an assessing the qb position than you ever have. Holy smokes have you established yourself as incompetent as they come even to a novice like myself you stick like a sore thumb. You are terrible talent evaluator
Yeah, that’s called a track record. You know, like the track record you have of never being right. Ohio St hadn’t had a quality QB before Stroud. Glad I was wrong about him
Can you be anymore racist? It makes you so mad seeing some white dudes succeed huh? Must be a shitty human. And no, Maye hasn’t regressed. He’s going to be a top 3 pick and could be number 1 overall. But again, you don’t actually watch or know football. Keep on being a bigot though.
LOL. No, we know YOUR preference in a QB. Maye has regressed, but it doesn't he won't go top 3. Teams are QB desperate and fall in love with those 6'4"+ QB that meet your IDEAL prototype.
You’re the only one that sees color here. Because you’re a bigot. Maye hasn’t regressed, you just don’t know football. You have no idea what I prefer. But with your comments it’s pretty clear you only want black players. You must lead a very sad life, that much hate and idiocy in one person is shameful
It's really a test the waters idea. He has to be on some type of contract to Practice, unlike working out or using the facilities. But he doesn't NEED to.
Damn! We gotta go to that shitass stadium in New Jersey in 2 weeks! Say a prayer (or hold out all of our important players). Can’t be suffering torn achilles (another victim today) or any other season ending injuries in the worst stadium, worst field in the NFL.
When it comes to prototypes, the problem is not the strength, but the everything else being equal part. I remember how often Don Meredith hit Bob Hayes in the hands and Hayes would drop it. He caught enough to keep his job and get his reputation, but was frustrating as hell because of the drops. Of course he did stretch the D which doesn't have a stat. I also note receivers in general caught balls with their bodies back then rather than their hands. I bring this up primarily because of Demeco's focus on the team. It's real. The individuals make the team and team mates better, but the team and team mates also make the individuals better. Right now, C J is getting deserved credit for making his team mates better, but the second part (his team mates making him look better) is often overlooked. It's one thing to throw a catchable ball, but the ball still has to be caught. It's one thing to throw the ball, but having a receiver throw a block down field also makes C J look better.
What games are you watching? Texans Wide Receiver core was ranked bottom 5 prior to the season starting. They are currently middle of the pack in dropped passes. And for every Tank Dell block to break Noah Brown free, there is a Dalton Schultz love tap block leading to a sack on CJ. Make no mistake, CJ is 90% of this team being better than originally thought. With Slowik being the other 10. He makes everyone better, and I don’t think his receivers catching his beautiful balls is them making him better.
