Yeah, I know they were picked up by other teams - I was just hoping BDN tried to claim them, but we just got beat to it b/c of our record / waiver wire order (especially on Marco). Priority starts with last season and then I think around week 3 or 4 it moves to the current season. the waiver claim order will be changed after the third week of the regular season. At that point, it will be based on the league-wide standings and adapted weekly throughout the rest of the season, until a new draft order is set after the Super Bowl. https://www.patspulpit.com/2024/8/28/24230421/patriots-2024-nfl-waiver-wire-order-explainer
Looking at the notepad, so far Kamari is your defensive rookie of the year with Beanie Bishop and Bullock right on his trail. 4 games to close it out.
That would be bad ass to have these back-to-back years, at some point we will have to pay everyone and that could be one pricey defense. Stingley is about to get paid, we should take the Nico route and try and sign a few to early extensions that are team friendly
How this clown still has a spot on the team is beyond me, seems like a good kid the Texans have bent over backwards to help him and he cant get out of his own way........................stop the bleeding and let him find a new home with a new scenery
Is he gonna play against Miami though. Without Azeez we are going to need speed to cover Miami's receivers
So, if we win the division this weekend... do you rest the starters (mostly) the final 3 weeks (we'd be locked into the 4 seed no matter what record we ended up with). I don't see us catching the Bills, Chiefs or Steelers to get higher than a 4 seed so would there be anything to play for? The only concern I'd have is rust going into the wild card round.
