My hunch: Demeco wanted to use DC spot to get the guy he wanted as DLine coach. Kocurek said no. They hired this guy and the only way they could get him was the DC job.

Actually his wife/girlfriend was in Thailand for vacation/photoshoots. I think she's a model. Certainly an interesting option though given he has experience as a head coach. I do think its extremely interesting that he would be taking a demotion to OC or QB coach or even assistant head coach and ends up at same level as his former DL coach.
He would be locked in until 2027 because if he takes a head coaching job before then he forgoes the money on the extension he just signed. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Bonus is he's back in Texas in an area he knows and he'll have an opportunity to build an offense basically from the ground up. Interesting that Coach D is pulling guys from Cardinals staff, Shanny must be pushing back on others. Having Kingsbury on his staff with previous HC experience is a big positive from our prospective.
