Giving the 4th hurts now. Was worth a shot. He had played pretty well, some big time 3rd down catches & 2 TD’s vs Tennesee. He’s eyeing a 2020 return at best with a good chance to never make it back. WR now becomes a priority in the draft with OL & CB imo. Can’t count on Keke or Fuller to ever play.

I think he's done. The decision has been made for the Texans.

That's why I didn't like the trade that much even though I like Thomas. It was always going to be a rental with no compensatory picks because he was gonna get cut even if healthy. 4th was too high for that, especially since he was just a possession WR and not a Fuller replacement.

They have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds. Giving up the 4th hurts, but it's not likely something that bites us in the ass down the line. We also have loads of FA money that we can allocate to some of these holes. Getting a FA WR seems like a better bet than spending draft capital.

Just 33 years old. Man that’s way way way too young. RIP …I only pray for health, a happy long life and being with my family and 33 just isn’t fair to go

Forgot about this also. He seemed incredibly likable and just sold. I forgot he played here and it touched before seeing this thread. I thought he was so underrated. A lot like Broncos great Sharpe's brother Sterling

I too forgot he was a Texan. In fact, I read the thread title and figured this team was so stupid, we traded for a dead person, not knowing he was dead.
