I don't have season tickets, so when I do go to games I have a friend who has a tailgate who I "visit". I bring a case of beer and a bottle and maybe a covered dish or breakfast. He outlays most of the cost himself. (and he always has a very nice spread....the man is good with a grill) Believe it or not, he doesn't have THAT many more people at his tailgate than the 5 you are talking about and he has "sponsors". Like businesses that give him $ for signage and keeping business cards around. It's not enough to pay for the whole deal but it helps out. He definitely spends quite a bit money on it, but I think its a labor of love for him.

SMH In all fairness, YOU STARTED IT! I agree with you on the TV deal, get some insurance for the possible TV breakage, Justin Case and not the Safe Auto guy.
