How did John Elway, Bill OBrien and Gary Kubiak all get jobs when a QB evaluator extraordinaire was right here on clutchfans all along?
Buccaneers and RB Doug Martin reached agreement on five-year deal worth over $35 million, per source. — Adam Schefter
Miller should get between $6.5MM and $7MM. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Buccaneers and RB Doug Martin reached agreement on five-year deal worth over $35 million, per source.</p>— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/707648343359557633">March 9, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I'm not hyping up Osweiler, but I love how the anti-Osweiler crowd can use whatever happens to fit the narrative they need. Texans sign him? He's a loser that only failed franchises would invest in. Broncos let us overpay because they don't want him. Broncos sign him? Broncos saved the Texans from themselves. (Ignoring that they are the team that JUST won the superbowl lol) Texans sign him? Team doesn't take risks! Broncos sign him? Thank god he was too risky!
I'm telling you guys... Brock Osweiler is the real deal. Not making a play on him, not paying him enough will be a mistake. You must outbid the Broncos. Hoyer, Savage, the QB's in the draft aren't ideal and probably won't take this team to the promise land. Take a chance. Or you can just build the defense and pray a QB falls in the lap. Rinse/Repeat. Maybe Watt will be 33 by the time we are even relevant (aka in the discussion for a Super Bowl.... how many fans want that?...) *Raises Hand*
Schefter: It's the big domino. They're going back and forth and I think it gets done this week, probably the next couple of days, one way or another. ... The Broncos are getting anxious trying to figure out his thoughts & plans, same for Houston. We should hear from Osweiler in the next 48 hours. It's difficult to peg it. Denver or Houston. What does he want? I don't know what he wants right now.
Whats the deal with RG3? Has that ship just sailed? I think he's a good intermediary choice. Cut Hoyer. Sign RG3 for like 5MM. Draft a QB, let him develop, and let RG3 and Savage duke it out instead of paying 15MM per year for an unknown in Brock.
Bad teammate that has not been able to go through progressions in the NFL and has a bad injury history. Texans aren't interested.

Zierlein said last week he'll be 29 before the Texans are legit contenders. _____________________________________ "The Broncos have ramped up their negotiations with Brock Osweiler, trying like crazy to keep him. They had a 3-year deal worth up to $45 million on the table. They have upped that ante just a little bit." — @NFLMedia
That's the problem all the anti-Osweiler fans want to keep bringing up. He was 5-2 as a starter in which he beat the f****** Pats. He's not an unknown. Stop.
I would agree, RG3 makes more sense than the big gamble on Brock. RG3 would be cheap and if he doesn't work out, he can simply be cut. IMO that's the best path forward.
Not at this rate. It's a wait and see game that usually ends the same way. Hoping for a different narrative. FA is about to start. The near future of the team will swing either way depending on Osweiler's decision. It's the biggest one in recent memory, because we might have ourselves a QB.
Yeah, that John Elway guy has no clue how to build a football team or how to evaluate a QB. It's not like he's won multiple Super Bowls, or anything. He should probably be taking lessons from you about how to read a person's eyes on television...
Well luckily for JJ he was 22 and 23 and had 2 years of being a part of a legit contender to start off his career. Injury killed year 1 and year 2 ended horribly but let's not act like he's been wallowing in mediocrity his whole time here.
