I dont think Ryans/Caserio will do this, but I would draft Bijan at 1-12, Washington at 2-32, Wypler at 3-64 and develop a style of tough hard nosed football. I also would play Bijan in the slot quite a bit. 10-12 carries per game and 5- 7 catches per game. 2-5 KR returns. You can certainly justify picking Bijan.
If you can score consistently it puts pressure on the other team to abandon the run game. One reason we were so bad is teams were running out clock on us with big leads.
But how do you get the ball back to the offense in order to come back from deficits to begin with? You're right teams were running ... the ball right down our throats! I think you're giving way too much credit to a rookie QB. Best case scenario for me would be a Joe Burrow rookie year type situation where the individual shows flashes and demonstrates his ability to control the offense vs expecting to be a high scoring offense.
I'm pretty high on Bijan and Washington as well. I just don't think Caserio will invest a high pick on an RB with all our other needs.
Like the signing, but just 1 year and $10 Million? If you think a guy is worth that much, why are we not adding more years to it?
