The right move. Now, hopefully they make the right hires to replace them.

My faith in this organization is restored. Now get someone experienced and knows what the hell they're doing.

    The Texans culture has changed.

Caserio and Demeco run off accountability.

    This move had to happen.

The tape doesn’t lie. Slowik’s inability to coach the details hurt the Texans offense.

CJ hid Slowik’s inefficiencies as a coordinator. Slowik did not hide CJ’s as a quarterback. That’s the big issue.

I wanted this move to happen, but credit to Slowik for what he did with Stroud in year 1. Feels like they weren’t executing to their potential this season, and there were no real layers or wrinkles in the offense. More so trying to get organized, something consistent going, avoiding penalties.

DeMeco didn't like them pulling them down. I was trying to prepare myself for another year of Slowik because I didn't think they would drop them both. WOW

You could tell DeMeco was NOT happy after the loss to Kansas City. He is certainly not going to settle.

Hopefully, he learns the lesson Kubiak had to: find an experienced offensive mind that can do to the offense what DeMeco has done to the defense.

I’m now verrrrrrrrrrrrry curious to see if the OL gets a shake-up, personnel-wise.

Also… I kind of wonder how safe Caserio is? Make no mistake: this team is being built in DeMeco‘s image. He’s the captain now.

This makes me feel good about this front office. We all could see the struggles on offense this year, despite having significant weapons at our disposal. But somehow scoring was always a struggle. I know Demeco and the front office couldn't really say anything during the year, but I was really worried the support/lip service they were giving for Slowik was genuine and they would just keep rolling with what they had. I hope they get someone that can really get creative with Mixon and CJ's skillset.
