I just wanted an excuse to post the vader no pic. I doubt he'll even see the field. It gets us some pub, so whatevers. Plus he'll have some b****in hot tub parties here.
Fathers, take care of your daughters!!! funny, I've been on vacation and didn't even know this news until now...Honestly, I see nothing wrong with this...as a back-up, this makes sense...he isn't a starter and god willing he never will in a Texan uniform...
I don't really see why anyone has a problem with this. It's a one-year deal, and it obviously gives us another option other than Dan O (who has looked beyond incompetent in his time here). I think it's safe to say no matter what, if any of our back-up QBs are seeing significant playing time this year, our season is toast anyways. We might as well take a flier on the guy, and see if we can revive his career. If not, we walk away next year, no harm no foul. Plus, it gives us a little added publicity, which I'm sure Bob McNair doesn't mind.
WHY THE HELL ARE WE TALKING ABOUT LEINERT??? Who cares who our backup is. Without Shaub we have problems. Matt Leinert is not our savior. Who cares that he is a Hiesman winner. People please stop calling sports radio talking about him!!! We all loved Sage and look what happened. He proved the experts right by failing. He failed in a spectacular way, by being helicoptered, but he still failed. If something happens to Shaub, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. But if you seriously consider the Texans a playoff team, the backup QB is the last thing you want to worry about.
While we're talking about Texans' back-up quarterbacks with great college careers, we should be really happy that they didn't keep Jared Zabransky. I went to the Calgary-Edmonton CFL game yesterday and Zabransky played a lot for Edmonton. I think he threw more passes to Calgary DB's than his receivers.
He's thinking, "Haha, everybody thinks i'm some innocent third string qb. You just watch I'll take the starting job away from Schaub."
You guys are both wrong. It's:

[rQUOTEr] "Aaaahhhhh. Man I needed to let that go."[/rQUOTEr]
