    No I didn't. I'm a Texan. I don't imply things. I say them.

Or perhaps an exciting player? (which is what I said) Not sure why you're assuming offense is the only thing that can be exciting. In any event, did you ever consider that I don't think anyone in this year's draft (that fits our needs anyway) is exciting? Will there be solid players? Yeah, a few. That's it, nothing really to be excited over. Take your assumptions and apply them elsewhere. This is an "average but serviceable" draft for the Texans. Period. In my book, that isn't exciting. And not for nothing, but I don't refer to football players as "sexy". Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Because you flat out said in your first post that you weren't excited about the draft because defensive players take long to develop, and say how you are not excited about the draft, which any logical person would believe that it's not exciting to you to draft defensive players...

You didn't say it, and you don't imply things since you're "a Texan", so how could I consider it?

There is no way you can look at a draft, especially in the NFL, and say it's average, above average, or poor. Every year there are players that were under the radar in college either at small school's or just weren't in ESPN's hype machine that become big-time rookies in the NFL. Third and fourth round draft picks, guys that teams past over multiple times, can become rookie of the year nominees and pro bowl alternates. You don't have to be excited about the draft but you can't write it off just by saying the Texans won't find anything more than "serviceable" players.

If BJ Raji is there when the Texans select, we need to get him. Pairing him along side Okoye. would be insane. It would be similar to what Jacksonville had in Marcus Stroud and Johnathan Henderson.

Raji wouldn't be a bad pick depending on who else is available. Kubiak has mentioned many times that they're wanting to get a big DT to pair with Okoye. While Raji has a ton of bulk (323 lbs.), he isn't all that tall (6'2") especially considering that Amobi is 6'1"-6'2" himself.

Stround and Henderson are 6'6" and 6'7" respectively, that's ridiculous size for 2 interior lineman.

Are you talking about the Texans or.......... the Lions?

We need a DE in the first.
    Secondary guy.....uh...second.
    Another LB.
    Back up to Slaton.
    Back up to Schaub.

The defensive players in THIS draft. No one excites me. In my opinion, there isn't a Mario to be found.

I think the back up to shaub is gonna be alex brink who we drafted in the 7th last year... if the texans are willing to give up sage for anything less than a second its because Brink must be doing progressing pretty good

That's correct. I also didn't say I was excited about Mario. I'm saying there isn't even a D player that warrants that type of attention. To me, it seems most of the D players at the "top" this year require the famous "if he lands in the right situation, he can be a solid player" disclaimer attached to them. I don't see any "that guy will be a major impact wherever he goes" guys. Then again, I'm open to the fact I may be missing something. I haven't shifted gears into football draft analysis too much ;)
