Texans @ Colts

Either way, I think the Texans need to get a QB. Sage is average at best. Schaub is too frail. Same injury as Favre. Both had the injury the same week and Schaub has yet to play since then.

 

I swear we just don't give a ****. I know we're getting creamed but at least have some ****ing pride.

 

Have you ever considered that one might have a more serious version of the injury?

 

Schaub could play now, but there's little point. He's going to need surgery in the offseason anyway.

 

How are you making that inference? The D is freaking exhausted.

Our secondary has no chance against the Colts. They are shooting fish in a barrel. As far as I'm concerned, there are no positives in this game for the Texans. If Sage gets hot in garbage time, it will mean absolutely nothing. Schaub is better.

 

I think this game should pretty much put the "Sage for fulltime starter" to rest.

 

Yup. Incredibly poor judgment by Sage.

I think Schaub is going to play if healthy next week.

 

He can play, but it's very possible he could make his injury worse. For that reason, I don't think they risk playing him in essentially a meaningless game.

 

Serious. . . I mean people are acting like he is playing against the defending super bowl champs and at worse the second best team in the league. .

So we follow up possibly our best game of the season with without a doubt our worst game of the season. UGH.

I'm thinking the Dolphins might play better against the Pats than we did today.

Travis Johnson should not see the field against Jacksonville.

 

Sage vs. Colts: 18-32; 202 yards; 1 TD; 3 INT
Shaub vs. Colts: 27-33; 236 yards; 1 TD; 2 INT

 

Well since we are trying to become a team that can compete with these kind of teams, you would like to see better outings than this. He's a great backup. I hope we keep him in that capacity.

You do know there are varying degrees of injury, right? Schaub's injury will require surgery at the end of the year, I highly doubt Favre's will.
