good thing i read this, because i was going to say the same thing. to me, he's the texans 2nd best receiver, of course behind aj. he's better than bradford and gaffney simpley because he catches the ball, not a whole lot of drops like the other two. he needs to be on the field a whole lot more.

i was surprised that the texans actually made it somewhat respectable and didn't get blown out by like 3 or 4 td's. i like what pendry is doing with the offense only if they could get an offensive line that could block worth a damn.

I heard Granato on 610 after the game, and he was saying the only thing holding back Armstrong is his route running. He said from what he sees on the sideline, Gaffney and AJ are Carr's only dependable WR's...he knows they'll hit their spots.

Armstrong has the physical talent and ability, he just needs to get the mechanics down.

That is a crock (not directed at you but at Granato). The guy never gets any reps, but D.Carr seems to be more comfortable with him than Bradford.... And even Gaffney a little. Granato should look at his catch\plays in the game ratio compared to everyone else except for A.J. I been pulling for D.Armstrong since last year. He has always come through. Dependable and I am also not convinced that he doesnt have enough speed. If Wayne Chrebet can get some reps (no offense to Wayne) then D.Armstrong should. Some players (ex:Chrebet) just play the ame and make plays. Armstrong can be one of those players. He will be if he leaves for another team.

Saw parts of this game...We showd flashes of a good team, right out of the half...But man, after than, forget it...Carr, when he has time, seemed to make the right choices...However, just frazzle him a little, and forget it...At times, it seems he doesn't have a clue and tries to force things...Very sad...

Granato is the ultimate flip floper. He says that, but then on Monday he says, "Armstrong should be starting! I don't know why he isn't in the starting lineup!!!"

armstrong should start. i don't see where gaffney is a better route runner. i don't know how many times he just fails to turn around and look for the ball. i know i've see that happen at least 3 times this season alone. to me, gaffney has no clue of how to play receiver. he has speed and size but lacks consistency and hands. he shouldn't be higher than 4th on the chart. and bradford should just be cut because he drops too many balls.
