Like I said, I have no problem with Allen or Lamar taking MVP. They have both been fantastic this year. My whole point was that having more great players around you doesn't eliminate you from MVP. Mahomes won two MVPs, and there were others without the star players and coach he had around him. I'm with you on what makes an MVP on any given team, and in that respect I would go with Allen too, but in most sports the MVP is often on a team with a other star players.

Bills have all the requirements, first in division, dominant wins against legit teams. And the QB being the best in the league.
Lamar has been balling, but he’s not doing what Allen is doing. Carrying a team

Folks are really forgetting the Eagles. They could win it all.

Goodness, so now the schedule is why we were successful? I’m down on this team (the offense) as much as the next guy, but the defense looks great, any game we have lost, other great teams have done the same (ravens lost to browns AND raiders, bills lost to US) it’s the NFL, stop moving goalposts to make the season gloomier for no reason.

The Bills división isn't near as tough as the Ravens division. The Ravens have beat plenty of legit teams. In fact, they beat the Bills 35-10. It wasn't even close. Lamar threw 2 touchdowns and ran for another TD. Allen didn't have a TD at all.

First, the Ravens division isn’t that tough. Pittsburgh, is winning and they were supposed to be in a rebuild year. Second, they don’t have many good wins other than the Bills early in the season.

Bills having wins over the Chiefs and Lions is huge.
Lamar has won two MVPs with meh statistics (the stuff you look at) because there wasn’t much competition in those individual seasons.

Allen is having a better season, Saquon is having a better season.
Lamar is essentially having the same season Goff is. Elite numbers but elite help.

I agree, Allen has been on an absolute tear lately. I'd give Allen, then Saquon the nod for MVP over Lamar and Goff.

Believe what you want. We don't agree and that's fine. You say the Bills beat the Lions and Chiefs and that's huge, but don't think the Ravens beating the Bills 35-10 is huge makes me laugh. You can believe the Bills have a tougher division all you want. I don't agree. I've seen both quarterbacks play plenty of times, and am not basing my views on just stats. I think they are both worthy of MVP and you don't. No big deal. I honestly don't care that much who wins it. Never have. I've never been a big fan of individual awards in team sports.

    What are you talking about?
I said the Ravens win against the Bills was good, they don’t have another one and have had some bad losses.
You only look at counting statistics and not any type of nuance.
Lamar is having an MVP caliber season, his best by far. His first two weren’t very deserving.
But Allen is better, has been better for a while. Saquon is having a better season as well.

Goff and Lamar are having elite seasons, but are also not the driving factor.

Allen is going to win MVP this year due to narrative and fatigue.

This is Lamar's best season. Any other year and he would win, but selection fatigue will be there, especially with another equally qualified candidate. The Bills narrative from a team with much less talent than previous years and them winning their division will push Josh up front to his first MVP.

How the **** did a thread on a Houston sports website titled around the Houston Texans winning the division turn into a pissing match about what player who doesn’t play for Houston might win an MVP award I could not care less about? I think Lamar won it last year. My yawns are yawning.

My yawns are yawning too. Sorry about that. I'm with ya Max, who cares if it's not a Houston player? Stroud isn't in the same category of any of those MVP QB candidates this year, but, Hunter or Anderson could get DPOY. I'm hoping CJ starts getting his mojo back against the worst pass defense in the league when we play the Ravens, and we start playing our best games forward into and through the playoffs. Hanging onto that bit of Superbowl hope. It's a longshot, but you know thee saying, anything's possible.

CJ beats them all in the playoffs. You heard it here first.

Now that would be fun, but I'd give our defense the biggest chance to beat them all in the playoffs.

DEFENSE wins championships IF your offense gives them a chance.

Our offense will go as far as Mixon can take us, we HAVE to be able to go on the road and run the ball to set up the pass. What makes me nervous is Joe Mixon getting hurt, I haven't seen hide nor hair of DP................but I did see Akers score last night

Our D can hang with anyone, but the offense needs help and a little (OK, lots) luck...........................Will the real CJ, please stand up. I need the 25-30 for 285 yards and 3 TD`s CJ
