Only 9 pages of posts. I guess everybody that was on the Texans bandwagon after the 2nd win is now officially off of it. Not surprising.

    i'm still on it.

I'm sure it's only 9 pages cause there isn't b****ing and moaning about some dude on another team.

You can see how many of those "Titans" fans posted in this thread.

Still don't understand why Will Demps and Micheal Boulware are not the starting safties. They both have much better resumes than Brown and Hutchins and couldn't be any worse than them. Petey still sucks.

Maybe they were watching reruns of High School Musical cause the football games on today were terrible.

So, what part of that win last week do you credit to Him?

And what part of this week's scintillating sub 50 percent, 42 yard passing performance do you credit to Him?

For the team that's what matters, not a player. The Jaguars and Lions are 5-2 as well, but I don't think Jon Kitna and David Garrard have Hall of Fame busts waiting for them (although both have clearly played better than VY this season).

That said, I know you're a real Titans fan, and regardless of the reason they're winning, it doesn't change the fact that they're a really good team. Props to you... that defense is remarkable. Can't remember a turnaround happening so quickly. I'm quite jealous that Fisher is able to get that kind of productivity with essentially the same personnel from the 32nd-ranked defense last season, whereas the Texans keep on adding high draft picks and see little if any development as a unit.

since we're on the subject of VY (again), does he make the pro bowl again if the Titans have a winning record but his individual performance is worse than last year?

i didn't think he deserved it last year.

Well, first of all, he was the third alternate last season... not even the first or second. Second, no chance this time around. That's what's concerning about VY, and I say this as someone who has cheered for him for a long time... so far this season, he's regressed. His passer rating is the same, but he's not making anywhere near the plays with his legs that he did a season ago. There were several games -- Giants, Texans, Bills -- that he took over with ridiculous late-game heroics... none so far this season.

He has a lot of work to do in the second half.

today's game was misleading. his receivers are the opposite of the Patriots. 2 drops in the end zone, plus you throw in Jeff Fisher's conservative game play.
this was the game plan for the Raiders:
run run run run run run run run.

plenty of season left. LenDale white is proving to a decent back in the league. The defense for the Titans is stellar.

You're forgot something, dude. Should you all make the playoffs good luck with your pittance of offensive production going against the likes of San Diego, NE, Pittsburgh and Indy. 42 yards passing won't get it done in a playoff game. Must say for the record much to my chagrin, the Titans D is looking better than I expected.

So how much longer before Richard Smith is fired as the defensive coordinator? Back to back to back allowing 30+ points. Keep hearing Johnny Holland's name creep up as a replacement from the LB corps or Frank Bush from the DL. Something has to be done. I mean yes, the D has been getting little if any support lately from the O but, it's starting to get ridiculous. I mean is it the schemes, matchups, better disguisingg blitzes or what !?! It's starting resemble that this team is just playing out the string. Yes, there are also injury issues but, DAMN THIS BAD ??? My feeling someone's head has to roll for this recent meltdown. From 3-2 to 3-5? SH*T!!!

what the hell happened to the run stopping game?

we were damn good at it. The only trouble we had was with the passing D.

now we can't stop the run or stop the pass.

    Very True.

But VY doesn't look very good, that isn't debatable.

A lot of coaches could learn from Fisher...
