Maybe if we suck enough, the NFL will let us have a regular season game in Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Samoa, Brazil, Iran, Canada, Cuba, India, Russia.

Echemandu has some nice explosive moves between the tackles.

On the bright side, at least the Redskins are getting blown out more than the Texans are, 38-0... and counting. (Hey, it's something, right?)

    EDIT: Make that 45-0.

i love what NE is doing to the opposition. not a patriots fan but i respect them for shoving it down the opposition's throats to prove they don't need to cheat. on that 4th down, i was cheering for them to go for it.

Those wankers are finally seeing a live real game.

I think the Texans should go to Beijing to play.

    That's 6 TO's (5 INT's and a fumble) by Sage in the last 2 weeks.

the texans' injury-free OL would be spencer (#3); pitts (#2); mckinney (major FA signing); weary (#3); winston (#3).

i guarantee our line outranks NE's in tems of draft position.

I'd hardly call McKinney's acquisition as major, and if the Texans did, perhaps that's part of the problem. He's a serviceable lineman, but not anywhere close to elite at any point in his career. Just a year ago, he was considered part of the problem... a lot of folks wanted him booted from the line for Flanagan.

Also, you can't look at the line as injury free. It was obvious to everyone in the offseason that Spencer was unlikely to play in 2007, and whether he would ever return the same player was and is certainly in question. But instead of making a contingency plan, they trusted one of the most important positions on the team to Salaam.

eh, the left side of the Patriots line - Matt Light and Logan Mankins - are second and first rounders, respectively.

Also, don't forget they drafted Damien Woody in the first round and he started for several of their championship teams.

Flanagan was the starter last year until he got hurt. After he went out and McKinney was the starting center, that's when Ron Dayne started kicking ass.

he was a 4-year starter in indianapolis, protecting peyton manning. since guys like ogden and pace rarely come available, it's a major acquisition.

no one is - i said their preferred (ie injury-free) starting line-up would include ALL day 1 picks, save for mckinney.

Within those four seasons, the Colts had a 3-13 season and a 6-10 season. Let's not make it seem like they were playing at a similar level of dominance to the past five years. If you're claiming McKinney is or at any point was valued as second tier only behind the elite offensive tackles, I think that's ridiculous.

I understand that, but it was obvious to most folks that they needed to make an adjustment to counter Spencer's injury. They chose not to do that.

They chose to get a backup (Black) for a backup (Salaam).

We are the laughing stock of football in this state. Bigger joke than Aggies, bigger joke than Byalor and a bigger joke than Rice.

Kubiack has no buisness being a coach in the NFL. Aggies please make him an offer.
