On a Positive note and if my memory serves me right, we are now in position to exorcise the ghosts of the '92 playoff comeback defeat. /salt on our wounds, sorry bout that
Yeah at least we have a whole half to make a comeback, whereas we only had the 4th quarter to do it last week.
Give them one more year before you start shoveling dirt on them. I'm in the same boat as you but the difference with me is that I looked at the Texans before the season and I saw a 5 to 7 (maybe 8) win team and not a playoff team. Simply too many holes to plug in 2 years.
Just got back from Texas City...was fishing etc. What's up with Greene not playing? Dayne and our practice squad RB in the game?!
I think that's a lot better, man. Echemandu will end up with WAY MORE yards than Green has had ALL SEASON... Why do we only sign INJURY-PRONE players? (Boselli, Green, etc.)
In fairness the o-line did look pretty good when McKinney was still around. We all know that Flannagan is trash...but yeah the Texans should have done a MUCH better job building up there o-line depth starting after year 1.
and that is exactly why i'm throwing in the towel.... 6 ******* YEARS and we're no better than we were on season 1 enough is enough. f*ck the texans, and here's to mcnair selling them and moving them to LA.
For the two weeks in place, it looked OK... not great, but not as inept as it is right now. However, for this team to suceed... like most teams... it has to look better than just "ok". It dictates everything... at the very least, the running game and downfield passing. They've got the possession/short game thing down perfectly... as a result of being forced to run it because of the line. Cleveland's offense has been turned around completely, mainly because they've invested big-time in the offensive line.
As bad as they are, this is still a helluva lot better than not having a team... you're crazy if you think otherwise.
"You can't expect for the miracle that Rosenfels had last week... you can't expect that weekly..." - Dan Dierf*ck Thanks a lot, Dan.
Terrible throw by Rosenfels... Walter was wide open, and he had a chance to hit him in stride instead of underthrowing it by 10 yards, and allowing Jammer to get back into the play.
