Start banging the drum for Marty-ball in Houston. He turned the Chargers around within 4 years... Kubiak should be on the hot seat if the rest of the season regresses like this.
Agree but not about Martyball, LT turned the Chargers around not Marty. Kuibak though has made some bad decisions, starting with trading Morency for Gado then turning around and cutting him, all while ****** Dayne remains employed.
LT was a part of it, but certainly not everything. Marty was more responsible for the defense (he's a defensive guy), as well as making a firm point to get the O-line decent enough to be able to establish the run on each and every series. Additionally, LT doesn't rack up the huge yardage years if it wasn't for Martyball. Regardless... this team is pretty much stagnant... when healthy, they're not bad but not great, and could probably use an EXPERIENCED head coach/personnel evaluator to figure out if they have any salvagelble parts.
I put that on the coaching staff... they've look grossly underprepared/uninterested for each of the last 4 weeks, and its getting worse. This may be a clear-cut case of the coach losing his players' confidence... at that point, there's not much left to do.
AJ is not the only thing this team is missing... not by a long-shot. And, in today's NFL, 2-3 years is an eternity of time to show progress... and with the way this team is regressing in year two, he may not get a chance to be around for year 3 (the year your "plan" is in full effect, and should be starting to show some results).
so we're officially a horrible team again. i'm telling you as someone who really wants to be a fan of this team but took a long time coming around because i didn't live in houston for their first 5 years, they're on the verge of cementing my decision to completely give up on this pahetic excuse as a franchise. if this season continues as it has the past several weeks, i'd rather have no NFL team than trash that we call Texans.
