Uh, no. They have some motor cross show going on from Friday to Sunday. Unless its a Monday night game, which I doubt. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5241270.html
He said Sun Devil Stadium like in 03 so until i here otherwise I'll believe him. Others are saying they have heard it as well so I don't know how you can say he lied to me until an announcement is made.
This was where I thought it would be, but the article on the chrons page says that AZ and LA were eliminated from consideration. Supposedly its between Dallas and Houston on Sunday and (SD on Monday according to the Chron) http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5241270.html
Where ever the game is played, someone please remember to tell the Texans this time. You see........wait for it............ they forgot to show up for the last 2...
Will Green Day and U2 be out there to hold hands and sing songs, and try to sell records? anyhoo, I don't think the LA Coliseum or Rose Bowl would work, cause it's basically also So Cal, and I'm sure the winds will carry there. Remember back in the spring of 1998, Mexico was on fire, and Houston was smoggier than usual. I see Sun Debel Stadium as where they should play. It's neutral, but close to So cal. Plus, the Texans are working out there for the next two weeks.
My guess is that the greater LA spots were eliminated not because of danger, but because the air quality (smoke) is terrible and they are all open stadiums. Strange that Arizona got eliminated. Evan
They gave the Giants an extra home game when the Saints couldn't play in New Orleans after Katrina. They did get criticized for that move but who's to say they won't do it again.
And it is not like home field advantage means anything to the Texans. SD should just be happy to play the Texans for the easy W.
just heard it will be played in either dallas or san diego, they will make the call sometime tomorrow and it's pointing to dallas hosting it
