do you guys really want the Texans on national TV right now? they haven't exactly been taking the league by storm since week 2.
I was thinking that. We've had one Sunday night game and this season's games against Denver will mark our second Thursday night game....right???
i live here in scottsdale, but born and raised in houston. as bad as we have played the last few games WITHOUT andre johnson, i am praying that we play in either tempe or glendale!
We won't know until they decide what to do. They could still have it at Qualcomm or move it to LA, Dallas, or even here (with the precedent being New Orleans playing a "home" game at the Meadowlands vs. the Giants after Katrina). If any of those things happen, then I'm guessing it will keep its start time and TV will be unaffected. But if they play the game in Tempe and move it to Sunday or Monday night, who knows.
Monday Night Football sucks ass now, anyways. The Texans are better off NOT being on MNF. The commentators are as bad enough as it is, without having to listen to a comedian who thinks he is funny or some roided up, tugboat driving nimrod pimping his latest crappy movie
well according to ... http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/chargers/20071023-1933-fbn-chargers-wildfires.html The 4 sites under consideration if they don't play here in San Diego are Los Angeles, Arizona, Dallas, and Houston. I think it would be highly unlikely, but apparently it is being talked about.
I didn't hear anything about this. But it was just 40 minutes or so ago that Jerry Jones said he is willing to lend out Texas Stadium. Maybe that's what he heard and just got confused. They ruled out Arizona and LA so the only options are to play in Houston, play in Dallas, or play in San Diego on Monday night.
why not jsut play it in Houston if they're thinking about Dallas? yea, i know they want a neutral field b/c it's supposed to be SD's home game, but what's the point of complicating things.
I just had a pretty reliable source tell me the game is going to be played in Arizona. He lives in SD and has connections with both the Chargers and Kings organizations.
