Really wondering how many Texans fans bought into that BS pass fumble call?

I hate bye weeks. What is the point? The guys play about 30 minutes in a 3 hour game if they are on the field half the time, and it's only once a week.

The point is to give them a break in order to heal up. Football is one of the more violent games around and injuries are a way of life. It's not like baseball or basketball where injuries happen but the sport isn't so physical where you can't play every day.

That's the one good thing about it, although we need about 8 months off to heal all our injuries. But, all the practice Brock and Deandre can get between games is a plus!!!!!!! I hope Fuller gets to practice catching passes until he can catch 20 in a row without dropping one.

Very true, Brock and DeAndre need all the practice they can get in order to get on the same page. When your best WR is struggling the most that'll put you in some bad situations, if they work out whatever has been wrong then it'll really help things.

As to Fuller, IMO he'll always have bad hands, that's just something they have to work through. In order to make him a more effective weapon they have to work on hitting him deep, setting up screens, and on slant routes. He's not a possession receiver, he's a YAC monster and they need to set him up in spots to get YAC.

Gives the NFL 17 weeks of regular season football instead of 16....$$$$$$

I remember a season in the 1990's the NFL had 2 bye weeks. Wouldn't be shocked to see this again someday to generate more TV revenue.

I agree about Fuller. My biggest concern about drafting him was his tendency to drop balls. But, as you said, keep hitting him deep, and using him where his speed can be to the advantage.

Wasn't that when they were experimenting with no week off before the SB?

The league could go to 18 regular season weeks with 2 byes, but they'd probably end up shortening the pre-season. The SB is late enough as it is.

You don't understand football at any level which explains your recent posts. I suggest you stick to cheering for your team and that's it. It will better for you and everyone else.

    Division outlook...
    Jags are dead
Titans put up 35 pts this week at 4-4
The Colts are coming on strong and in all reality should have beaten us....
Texans are holding on to the division by a weak thread......
Brock has to play better or we are screwed....

But I thought the AFC south sucked according to every NFL "expert" out there? There is a lot of suck out there but most of it is the crappy sports media.

You don't understand sarcasm at any level, so it will be better for you and everyone else if you just stop being so condescending in your remarks.

Oakland is going to be an interesting game for us, considering they beat Denver, yet lost to two of the teams we beat. Let's hope we bring a better defense than Denver did tonight. This is the game we will need to hit them with our best shots, and Osweiller and Hopkins need to be on the same page, like we know they are capable of doing.

The nfl should do like European soccer leagues and expand their rosters and play two games a week, that way everyone gets to play and everyone gets to rest. American sports are so dumb

that's basically every division not including the AFC east.
The eagles gave the cowboys that game sunday night.
the giants have handed victories to other teams.
    It's the nfl.
