Unless Brock becomes a dumpster fire that actually costs us the playoffs, and without trying Savage, there is no way we draft a QB in the first 3 rounds I bet. I am not looking for his replacement by week 9 while we sit 5-3 atop the division, goodness... I like ILB and Oline. Don't understand the TE pick in the third round, my bet is DB or Dline.. Those are the top 3-4 positions of need.
You just can't drop it can you. I said I never wanted Carr to be drafted here. I was all for Osweiller, and excited about the deal. He has just disappointed me so far. We won't be tied with the Titans even if they win. We have the edge on everyone in our division right now and I am loving it. We are undefeated in our division and they aren't.
It's the bye week thread. You can't take anything said here too seriously. And I clarified my "tied with Titans" later on in the thread.
Considering Brock's contract is set up so the Texans can cut him after the 2nd season, the smart move would be for the team to draft someone in the 2nd/3rd round in this upcoming draft to compete and also be prepared to take over if Brock continues to be one of the worst QBs in the league. Now, I'm not the one to imply that the people in charge of this team are smart, but they need to keep searching for a QB because BO is average at best.
Titans will be in for a dogfight this week as the Chargers have some firepower. They have been limiting their mistakes lately, and that is their key. They are so methodical, they can't afford a mistake, but when they play clean, they are tough to beat.
IMO, unless a highly touted QB falls to us somewhere in the draft, I doubt we go get another one until we have tested Savage. Which wouldnt happen until next year if Brock continues to be bad or injury.

I can't help but feel we have a diamond in the ruff with Savage on the sidelines. I just wish he could've gotten a fair shot so we'd know for sure.
Considering vikings and broncos have made the opposing qb average an 60ish rating, except cutler go figure, I'm eager to see Oakland vs Denver. It's the only intriguing game of the week. Go packers, go san diego and Kc
