If the Bengals can burn Champ Baily with Chad Johnson then why can't we with Andre Johnson...if they can stretch the field we will win this game...if don't do it and try to pound the ball then we are going to loose.
Carr has been passing lights out the past few weeks. Our run game hasn't been doing as well as expected...but we have to continue to pound the ball. No matter if they're stopping us every single time, we still have to hand the ball off. Going to a pass wacky offense will only lead the Broncos to drop 6/7 into coverage and well, that's not what we need. It's not so much getting yardage through the running, it's having them respect the fact that we won't go away from it...and then they can't cheat on defense to just play the WRs. Having a threat of a running game will only open up our passing game that much more.
yes as long as Palmer continues the decent job of calling plays that will stretch the defense once we have started to run. How many times do we see run run run with no pass....he needs to let them know we are going to attack them. The bengals did it with Rudi Johnson and Chad Johnson...pound it with Rudi then once and a while go at their defense...keep them on their toes....what was the result? their secondary got smoked by Chad Johnson.
Texans - 31 Broncos - 24 I dont see the Broncos pass D as being nearly as tough as their reputation. Carr will have yet another big game but i dont think Davis will break out of his slump this week. The big key will be containing Droughes so they dont control the clock.

No... game is on now (even though I was getting into that jets/buffalo game...). Ah well... go Texans!
Texans winning the battle of field position early... but that missed FG hurt. EDIT: n/m... 99 yard drives negate a field position battle.
Replays clearly showed Carr's shoulder going forward through the line in the play. How the spot could have been set at almost no gain is beyond me...
I doubt they'll figure out the real spot based on replays... it has to be based on the LOS on the play before. If Carr had any forward progress at all, it has to be a 1st down, because the two ball spots were virtually identical.
