There's nothing wrong with that logic. Its just funny that people complain about the play-calling being too conservative... but then get mad about mistakes made on the high risk plays.... that's why they're high risk!
how frustrating...im just throwing things at the tv now..... our run game sucks and we go to it on a 2nd and 20...way to conservative.,.. we shuld stick to the strategy of moving the pocket around like we did when we scored
Davis is stinking up the place just as bad as Carr...runs of no gain are what every team wants out of their back.
Success in NFL start w/ O-line.....why in the world would the powers that be think the Texans were in good shape when a guy that has stunk it up EVERYWHERE he has been is their starting LT (Riley).
Brent Jones must be a Texans fan the way he complains about the play calling. Hey Brent, its execution. The guy whose job should be in jeapordy if there is no improvement is Casserly.
I'd be right there with you if the front office had actually showed some commitment to upgrading this aspect of the team but so far they have not done enough.... I'm very disappointed in this organization.
we have one of the best wr in the nfl and webarely pass to him.. no excuses.. palmer just pisses me off so much
Carr should be able to complete passes like that, even if his arm is getting knocked by an unblocked defender before he throws the ball. I mean... he is the #1 overall pick, right??
Correction... we barely "complete" passes to him. They look for him every single attempt (and the other team knows that too).
Ugly, ugly, ugly. The O-Line isn't protecting, Carr is taking too much time and is making bad decisions on top of that. I don't want to be so negative because it's so early, but the Texans might need to look at some major personell changes.
He should have felt the pressure. Spikes barely got to him. Carr has no pocket sense, and holds the ball to long. Lossman has gotten away from almost every rush.
Buffalo has an average to above average offensive line... and they're INFINITELY times better than the Texans' line.
