Yep....I really assumed that Casserly and Capers were smarter than this....what a joke....with our schedule, this was one of the few winnable games over our next 6 (PIT/@CIN/@SEA/IND are better than BUF). I think CIN is much improved and they've always whipped our butts.
I don't think they know how to form a GOOD pocket. I am not watching the game, but I am listening to it. Marc Vandermeer is playcalling on 610am and from what I hear... Everytime he says "Carr back to pass..." he immediately follows with, "Carr scrambling to the (left or right)..." Overall, it would be nice if Carr wasn't running for his life after he hikes the ball. I mean he's been sacked 4 times already today. I do understand that Buffalo has a great defense, but I wanted to see progress with the o-line this year and I am not impressed at all with the job they are currently doing.
Please... its just that every completed pass he has is because of the quick slants or quick outs, so when they don't do that, it seems that he's just holding to the ball. Most other QB's have time to drop back and survey... Carr has about 1/5th of that time... and even if he does have more time, its NEVER a clean pocket.
Who's fault was that interception. The apologists are out in full force. Watch Lossman when he's pressured. Lossman>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Carr.
Well. I know it's week one, and there is still two and a half minutes in the third, but I am off this damn wagon. Is it late October, early November yet?
this is an example of when you are wrong folks. Distraction. ----> BTW, I've never said that so stick to the subject at hand since you have no idea what you're talking about.
When Carr has to scramble because he's "hurried," or even when he is sacked, I place the the blame directly on the O-line for the very poor protection. But when Carr throws an interception (now his second for the day), that is when I question Carr's decision making.
