That first Texans' scoring drive was nothing to write home about, but it was still the best one of the year. There was a promising continuity to that drive.
Let's bring that up again in the 4th quarter, svprnaut. But it was Palmer running Pendries' system last week. Pendries can call it however he wants now and from the sidelines, unlike Palmer who was upstairs before. Less time wasted to get the call in.
The Texans aren't a prolific passing team, and the D was in passing formation, a run at that point wasn't a bad call. Of course, it would've looked a lot better if we pulled it off.
Well at least the offense is showing some life..... Now for the defense to actually try to step it up...
I'm liking what I see from the D, they are getting more penetration then I've seen in a long while... even if they don't get to Palmer they are rushing him from time to time.
I don't understand why the Texans don't always get Davis heavily involved in the offense. It seems to always work for them.
Buffalo and Pittsburgh are two of the best defenses in the league, especially against the run... the Bengals on the other hand leave a lot to be desired on defense, that is why most people are like "yeah they are undefeated but who have they had to play for 4 quarters?"
David Carr still sucks....Andre Johnson should go to a team that can throw the ball, he is being wasted by this lousy team. DD
Here is bull**** call. Titans wr ruled down by contact at the colts 2. But they decide that Indianapolis still gets the interception. WTF!
Just get Andre Johnson the damn ball. I said it all the first half of last season, and they finally started to do it. Now they've gone back to the **** offense that doesn't involve the best player. Let 'Dre make some plays....like throwing one up for him in the endzone instead of running on 3rd and 6 in the red zone.
It's not Carr's fault that he can't get the ball to Andre... he is our only offensive threat so he gets ALL of the secondary attention. If they'd put him in motion like the Eagles do with TO then he'd get more touches.
