I agree that something drastic needs to change, but am not ready to give up on Carr yet. Having said that, which part of the Texans would you keep? I thought that was an easier question than "Who would you fire?"
Hmmm... I thnk I'd keep a lot of the defense (especially coaching staff). Though our defense hasn't been that great recently, I think a lot of that is because: 1) The defense is on the field a LOT. Every time I see our offense keep the ball for 3 minutes and punt, I think "sheesh - if they were gonna fail on a drive, they could at least try to use up more clock. Our defense has gotta be really tired." 2) Broken motivation. It's hard for a defensive unit to go out there and give it all their heart, game after game when they see the offense perform so poorly and not even give the defense enough time to catch their breath. Honestly, I've felt that our core problems have been: 1) offensive line - not enough talent 2) offensive line coaching - not getting the job done 3) offensive play calling - dude got fired for a reason 4) head coach - he's okay, but not championship quality 5) Casserly - only seems mediocre, at best, for bringing in talent. Though Carr has been sucking recently, I strongly believe that if we fixed the 5 things mentioned above, Carr would excel.
I'd get rid of carr, he may have the physical ability (Maybe) but he isn't a leader. Have you ever seen him when he throws a TD pass? He acts like he just won the special olympics running around a jumping on his players like a kid. You don't see players like Tom Brady acting that way.
True. Then again, Tom Brady sees a LOT more touchdown passes than Carr. To him, he's probably thinking, "Yeah... we got another touchdown. Ho hum. What is that... three or four in this game?"
Brett Favre does it too. It's ok to do. But right now he sucks. so there won't be too many parties in the end zone.
I think it might be Texans: 3 / Bengals: 149. I mean after all we do have a new Offensive Coordinator. Should be an interesting game. I think the Texans have a lot to prove and huge chip on their shoulder. I'm hoping for an upset here.
To get 2 points would require the texans to sack the Bengals QB in the end zone. You give our defense too much credit.
I disagree. This is in Peek's home town. It's the least he can the Bengals muffed the Texan's punt and ended up on the 1" line.
dunta robinson SHOULD be covering johnson if the coaches are smart...but we all know that they aren't so who knows who they will put on him. prediction Bengals: 38 Texans: 7
Texans 13 Bengals 31 Carr sacked 7 times 2 Int's (Its Palmer's fault ) Chad Johnson 7 rec 125yds 2tds
Okay I am not a football fan, but I am gonna root for the home team. Bengals by 3 TDs. Go Bengals! This is your year!
