    Losing hasn't gotten us anywhere. Let's try winning for a change.

    It was awesome.

    Like it's already been said- Carr won't be kept as the starter just because Dayne had a career day against a crappy Colts defense.

    This poll should be public, so we can see who voted no.

    man i am so tired of these posts already. get over it. its done. its in the past. we all know the texans messed up big time, but instead of whining about it, how about we focus on who are next qb should be? Jake Plummer? Brady Quinn? Kevin Kolb?

    It seems pretty simple when you put it that way. :)

    If this is any indication of recent Houston sports, expect Demeco Ryans to go down with an ACL tear against the Browns.

    Absolutly THRILLED with todays win. Probably the first game this season that I watched every second of. I know the Colts D sucks, but Dayne looked miles ahead of where he was at the beginning of the season. Still, with his track record, I'd be pleasantly shocked if he gets another 100 yard game ever again.

    Props to Chris Brown for being clutch!

    i'm thrilled the Texans won today! finally beating the colts is a serious monkey off their (our!) collective backs!

    as for the draft pick, i think the Texans are better off picking a few spots down in the order. too many no.1 overall (or 2 or 3) picks will start piling up against the cap.

    great job dayne and the o-line!

    an amazing xmas gift for all!

    I hate all the tank games to get a better draft choice talk that always pops up whenever a Houston team has a tough season.

    You should win when you can, period. Just for honors sake and to be playing the game the right way.

    I don't want my Texans to become poster children for futility...in the hope of getting a slightly better player in next years draft.

    Frankly given the choice of "Let's Tank" conversation or "You know, we should have drafted Vince Young" convo, I would prefer the latter.

    Thanks Mac. :D

    This team needed a quality win to restore hope much much more than it needed to move up a couple spots in a draft and put all their hopes on a pick. Even with all the mild improvements this this year, this franchise was looking to go down the crapper into annual mediocrity like the old Saints teams....A win like this sparks up the belief again that they belong and arent just some 3rd rate franchise. It's like a high school team thats lost 9 straight games, once they play their crosstown rivals they want to beat the crap out of them and enjoy it and feel good about something.

    If they improve enough forget looking back on who they should have gotten. If they're a real team they'll make the right moves and win their share against the Vince Young teams and Peyton Manning's and dont feel like the neglected stepchild next to them. Screw tanking. Never quit

    uh..
    i'd take a healthy YAO over 1000 wins over the Colts.

    ROCKETS > Expansion NFL Teams

    WTF are you talking about? You think i'd prefer a win over the colts than a healthy Yao? :rolleyes: What are you smoking?

    I said, I was really upset about Yao's injury, and this helped to make me feel more jolly.

    And I don't agree on your Rockets > Texans.....

    In my head. Rockets = Astros = Texans

    The Texans have been in the NFL for what, 5 years? NEWSFLASH, they're not an expansion team anymore.

    They are better than the Oilers too.

    Oilers= CHOKE CITY
    Rockets= CLUTCH CITY
