Am I the only one that thinks this is a bad move? He underperformed last year and he's gonna want big money. I don't get it at all. Our receiving core was not our weakness last year. Also didn't think we'd give up a 2nd for him seems like too much to me.
This is the only reason I preferred the Allen deal. But then again, Coleridge's personality brings out the best in everyone.
Your welcome!! https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/free-agency.321538/page-267#post-15145247 Go Texans!!! ....... ....... .......
Wow. Didn't see this one coming. Wish he was little younger (turns 31 in Nov.), but he's still playing at a high level, he's got 3 years left on his current deal, we only gave up Minny's 2nd rounder to get him, and this gives us a true WR2 to go along with Nico & Tank. Man I really like this new-found aggression from our Front Office. I really like everything about the Texans right now honestly. From players to personnel to Front Office to ownership. Like night and day from the organization that we've become accustomed to the past 20 years. Love it.
If this culminates in a Super Bowl in the next season, this has to be the greatest & quickest turn around for any Sports Franchise in History.
I'll be the outlier and say I don't like the deal. Value is probably right, but I don't get how Diggs is going to avoid being a problem here.
