Laremy at LT - We're set. Kenyon Green (if healthy) at LG - We've only seen one season from him in 2021. I'd like to see a healthy season from him at LG. Jarrett Patterson / Juice Scruggs at C - I think when healthy, they can hold down the center position. Deiter already bounced to Miami. Shaq Mason at RG - Had 8 penalties last season (most of his career). He just restructured with us, so maybe an upgrade here? Tytus Howard at RT - Hopefully he goes back here to his natural spot. When he played, he didn't have a penalty at all last season. The backups are decent and held their ground last season. I'm not sure where to upgrade on the OL....
Not so much upgrades as depth. Can't have too much especially on the lines. But yes, the guard positions are a possibility.
2nd rounder for Diggs at his age and salary with signs of decline seems a bit rich to me, but hoping for the best
Why am I hearing from the radio locals that he's going to get a new contract? That's a bad idea. Let's just see where it goes. He is under contract for a couple of seasons.
Man, I've been behind today. Just now seeing this. I love what they gave up and the contract situation. I wasn't particularly interested in Diggs because of his diva nature, but if Demeco thinks he can keep that under control then I trust him. It will be interesting to see if this team drastically reduces the amount of running the ball compared to last season. I know they say how important it is to have balance, but even with Mixon as your lead back now I still can't see this team exceling at the running game with how much our Oline struggled to open up running lanes. That likely hasn't changed, so I say go all in on the pass game. 40-50 pass attempts every game. Trust in CJ and how good he is at taking care of the ball and making decisions. Only downside I see coming from this is Slowik is almost certainly gone next year. This offense is going to be incredible barring any significant injuries, and he was already getting interviews this past offseason.
