2017 25th overall + 2018 4th overall = Watson 2018 35th overall = dump Osweiler 2020 26th overall + 2021 4th overall + 2021 35th overall = Tunsil Meanwhile, Texans didn’t get any of that, not even a single first, for DeAndre Hopkins.
Dolphins are on 10 wins and a playoff spot while also owning a top 5 pick thanks to the Texans. Future is looking bright! Miami fans should raise a Bill O’Brien statue in Miami.
We could really use a playmaker with that pick. Too bad we couldn't get Justin Jefferson this past year, and a too flight corner this year.
Not even the best LT in the game. SMH. Back to jumping offsides and is ass in the run game. terrible deal. should have just kept Julien Davenport for the overall output of the unit as a whole in correlation to possible improvements or retaining of players elsewhere on the team. hot take I know, but if Watson gets killed for the money he makes in respect to the rest of the teams possible success and his output, then this guy should be tarred and feathered.
And O'Brien desperately overpaid for Tunsil because his evaluation skills sucked so bad that he was hoping Matt Khalil would be the starting LT
Obrien will be lucky to get a college job. Why would you hire someone who will immediately try to take your job? He should go to high school
The only thing with the Tunsil trade would have been giving a 2nd to take Kenny Stills with Tunsil. Otherwise, the 2 1st rounders were fine. Ask the Rams with Ramsey and Seattle with Adams (they gave up 2 - 1st without contract extensions.).
Tytus Howard will be a good RT going forward with BETTER coaching. Part of the problem with Howard is that Zach Fulton is SO BAD it affects Howard's play. A good offensive line coach is PARAMOUNT for the new Coaching staff.
Trent Williams is playing better NOW, and could have been acquired for a 2nd round pick (according to reports) and in hindsight should have been the guy instead of selling the farm for Tunsil. I would probably take Terron Armstead and/or Bakhtiari over Tunsil in regards to value vs output TODAY. When healthy I think Ronnie Stanley is also a better overall tackle. Yup - Tunsil is really good at pass blocking. Team is very good at passing. Tunsil not so good at run blocking. Team not so good at running. Correlation? team cant even run to Tunsil's side of the field because its not an advantage (when it should be). Then the recurring false start issues? Guy is the 27th ranked/graded tackle in the NFL. TWENTY SEVENTH. Yeesh.
Trent Williams missed an entire season because that cancerous growth. Texans were not trading for him. The Texans run blocking is a scheme problem, not Tunsil. Tunsil has SIX penalties all season. I don't where you see 27th rated Tackle, but that is not PFF. Again, another pro bowl.
Guess I just want this guy to play up to his contract the same way everyone expects D4 to play up to his. Hopefully Laremy can get better the same way D4 is getting better. Pro Bowls are nice. Lets see who makes the All Pro teams.
