Does this intrigue the don't draft a qb crowd?

I am fine with trying Carr at QB on a 2 year deal and going qb hunting in 2024. I would prefer trading down for a kings ransom like a trey lance deal. I think Carolina might be desperate enough with the Mccaffery picks.

Give me an elite wr and rb to pair with Pierce. We saw what happened when Pierce went down and I worry given his physical play it could happen frequently.

They also need a run stopping tackle and a linebacker who can get to the qb. Loading up more picks makes it possible...

I have never liked Tunsil. He gets some really dumb drive killing penalties. That being said it would be a useful thing to do with the cap space to front load money to ensure our future qb isn't killed. Smarter to spend on your own guys than free agents.

Fked up his brothers career might as well go 2 for 2 and end his also. Would b a great redemption story for the Carr brothers saga with us though

I would still draft a QB high in 2024.

If false starts 5 or 6 times a year kills your offense, then your offense has other issues. Top 5 LT's get paid.

Like I said, I would pay him. Doesn't mean I excuse the boneheaded drive killers because he's good the rest of the times.

It's more about the timing when it happens. He seems to save them for when we are finally moving the ball...

Like I said, a y decent offense should be able to overcome an occasional false start.

I don't "want" to pay Tunsil as he seems to only practice/play hard when he feels like it but I don't think we have much choice.
He's a top 5 LT and probably our best player atm.
I remember when Duane Brown ran out of "guaranteed" money and when we wouldn't renegotiate it started a giant downswing we've been stuck in ever since!
You never know how much you miss something till it's gone.
Our line was no prizewinner last year but you take Tunsil out and we will be downright PUTRID!
And at a time when we may have a brand new QB and/or coaching staff.

I just don't think we can afford NOT TO pay him!
We need at least some continuity.
