The Texans’ 2012 regular-season opponents have been announced by the NFL. Dates and times are to be determined, but here are the home and away opponents:

Home: Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings

Away: Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions

In addition to their home-and-home games with the AFC South, the Texans play all four teams from both the AFC East and NFC North. They play the Ravens from the AFC North and Broncos from the AFC West because those teams, like the Texans, won their respective divisions. The NFL scheduling formula matches up teams in the same conference according to division standings.

5 Playoff teams. 9 games against teams that finished 8-8 or better. If healthy, I'd still pick us to win the division and 10-12 games.

I'm looking forward to Baltimore at home.

If Peyton comes back they'll get it over us.

The Texans were the best and most complete team in football when healthy.

Next year, they should look to dominate, and go for that number 1 seed.

    Take no prisoners.

    It's still a tough schedule. I see 10 wins.

If we can stay healthy, then we can definitely hit 12-4. Really, if we lose, its bc we beat ourselves.

My first gut reaction to that is we go 11-5. Home schedule looks pretty good. I figure the Packers beat us but that's it at home. We'll get our revenge on Baltimore in that home game.

On the road I see losses to Pats, Jets, Bears and Lions. The Jets and Bears might turn out to be wins with a bad loss on the road to Tennessee or someone similar...but we definitely should win our division again.

I see 10 wins again. Possibly as high as 12 if we can stay healthy.

10 wins could be had but it's going to be fairly tough. There are some very difficult road games in there

Only 5 games against playoff teams doesn't sound too bad to me.
