Agreed, RB's fumble, its a risk of the run game. Its like people who complain about AJ and his drops, when he isnt even in the top 25.

Owen Daniels though, has fumbled twice if not more, and he had a few in 07 also. He does take some hard hits though, and Schaub almost leads him into it.

Wow, I didn't realize you guys were still trying to push Rosenfels. I thought we were all kind of past that...

I agree with much of your projection, but sweeping the Titans? Not likely....

I don't think we will lose to the Bills.

What scares me is that the Raiders ended this year very strong and have been playing much improved football.

I think 11-5 and getting to the playoffs will be the threshhold for not being disappointed. 10-6 won't get us in there.

On turnovers, remember the Texans were the second (I think) youngest team in age/experience. Alot of inexperience, but a lot of growing up at the 2nd half of the season.

I expect the receivers and tight end to be our strongest core and continue to be among the best like this season.

I expect Slaton to continue 1300 yards rushing or more, with hopefully an impact big guy to spell rest or some red zone utilization.

I expect Shaub to feel good about his progress in the 2nd half, and build on what worked.

Defense is more hope...I hope we get help at safety thru the draft. I hope the DL can pass rush better besides Mario.

More than anything I hope Smith goes away. I think the talent can do better in a more aggressive system as it has suggested on a few times. (Especially the linebackers)...Now, I'm not saying let's use the 46 Defense at all times, but how many times have we've seen the opposing offense need atouchdown and go through the "prevent" defense play it safe system like butter?

To me this is most important in getting to be 11-5

I think this 2nd youngest in age fact is due largely to our defense. Besides blatant obnoxiousness (Jacoby Jones) and hard hits (Owen Daniels) the giveaways flow from the hands of Sage and Schaub. Of our 32 turnovers, 12 came from Sage (10 Int/ 2 Fumbles) and 14 from Schaub (10/4). Like you said, the 2nd half of the season saw a much better Schaub, but he cant flourish with a 3:2 TD to pick ratio, and he still fumbled 10 times, lost 4.

posting the facts is not pushing for rosenfels, most of schaub's turnovers were at the beginning of the season, so his improvement has correlated with the team's improvement. But I'm just pointing out that out of the total number of turnovers, he's a huge part, just pointing out facts. its more than keeping rosenfels off the field, its about keeping the starter from commiting them as well.

you could also say the team's improvement has correlated with schaub's improvement. that MIGHT be another way of looking at it. ;)

i feel like i've seen enough to know i don't want rosenfels starting.

i feel like i'm seeing schaub improve.
